 If you or your family needs food, prescription assistance or diapers from Germantown HELP, simply call us at (301) 482-1320 and leave a message containing your name and telephone number in MAILBOX 1 for food requests, MAILBOX 2 for prescription assistance requests and MAILBOX 3 for diaper requests. REMEMBER: You do not need a referral to use our services and we do not require any proof of need. A volunteer will call you back within a few hours, ask for some information. Germantown HELP's phone lines take messages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, because of availability of volunteers, we only make deliveries Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. If you call us before 3:00 p.m. on a weekday, you will receive delivery of food that day. Calls received after 3:00 p.m. will be returned on the next business day and food will be delivered on that day. In addition to delivering food, Germantown HELP volunteers can answer other questions that you might have about other services provided in Montgomery County. Leave a message in our main mailbox for this type of request.
